Early Days of Internship

Thinking about having to do internship in a media house itself was nerve breaking; filled with self doubt, inconfidence, insecurities and scared, did not even had the guts to imagine myself working in a media house for a month.
My brain cells was exhausted to the core as I was appearing my end semester exams offline, and also had to move down to Capital ASAP since the internship was about to kick off soon after 3 days of completion of exam. It was more saddening because we were not getting any holidays; moreover had to come back to Ziro as the next semester was about to start off after two days of completion of internship. In a nutshell, I had to walk another thousand miles in a desert without enough water in the blazing hot venture.
On the very first day; me holding my CV in my hand, waiting for our guide, nervous yet confident enough to do a fine conversation.
Finally I saw a very familiar face, and it was our guide, Emma Ma'am; very welcoming and an extrovert, whose YouTube channel i once subscribed to, way back when I was not even a freshman.
Me along with my two mates, kicked off the internship by attending a national workshop at Banquet Hall, Itanagar.
The other day, we went to Akashdeep to do Voxpop(taking interviews of public at streets),
and this ladies and gentlemen, was one of the most nerve breaking experience, I literally had to hold a big red microphone and utter in front of a camera in the middle of the street, and not only that, I had to confront and convince strangers to come in the camera and pour their opinions; and convincing people, especially our local people to come in the camera and make them speak, is like completing your 3000 words assignment in one night.
This made me realize how our people are still so camera shy even in this social media era, and more prominently, we are still very afraid and hesitates to pour out our opinions in the public forum, but on the other hand, it also made me realize, that the vivid reason of our hesitation to speak out our opinion, is the comment section where people openly tears off the cloth of the person who is giving their opinions in the video.
Yes we live in a democratic country, but non is entitled to comment shit on others opinions.
Different people, different opinions, different looks, different in every aspects, except the fact that we all are are human beings, though some tends to act as animal.
So let us give respect and take respect.
