Nikho Chotiñ: most adventurous trekking spot in Ziro

Do not Judge me for wearing white, top to bottom while trekking in forest. You might ponder that I wore it just for the sake of fashion or to look good in photos. Well of course you are right, but only up to wee extend. The sole reason to wear all white, even not sparing my white Chuck Taylor All Star converse; was because of the leeches. You might say, that is a total bullshit, what does leeches has to do with white color? Are they not attracted to white color? Etc. So here is my personal simple legit cause which also defines the relationship between leeches and white color; look, if a leech comes or climbs at your white colored shoe or cloth, then it's easily visible, preventing the chance of leeches to come in contact with your skin.

So far, u may already guess that i hate leeches. Every crawling insects or animals makes my body shiver to the core. They are the most ugly looking creatures on this planet earth. If I had the power, I would replace all of them with non crawling creatures, or just add hands and legs on their body, so that they will not have to crawl and make people shiver and disgusted.
Then why did I went for trekking? Well as u can see the Mass Communication written on the back of my track; for that matter and to be a part of the last moment with my class mates and favorite teachers. It was indeed an adventurous and breath taking trekking; leeches everywhere, sticked in leaves as if they are waiting for their prey, almost got hit by mithun, shoe totally under the muddy road, rain started pouring, rocky thin slippery road, both the sir fell down; thank God they did not went straight down to the pit, one of my mate almost fell down straight to the pit but thanks to my other mate who instantly catched her and saved her. In addition to that, while we were heading back, my mate almost stepped on a snake. I know it seems too adventurous to be true, but for real all of these things happened and i wish it never happens again.

This place is called Nikho Cotiñ, one of the most popular trekking spot in Ziro. And if you have ever come across any Ziro based photos entirely filled with beautiful purple Primula Denticulata(known as "Baga Rinyo or Neha Apu" in Apatani language), then that place is known as Hakhe Tari, whose route is same as the route of this trekking spot, Nikho Cotiñ.

Well ladies and gentlemen, one of the very important thing which I realised in my 22 years of existence on this planet earth is that, life will always come with another next difficulties or task, straight after or a little after you are done dealing with the present task or finish conquering it. The saying " After becoming successful or achieving your goal, you will finally be at ease or will be happy ", this does not really have a solid ground in my way of perceiving life. Even after achieving your goal or becoming successful, there is no guarantee that you will be forever happy or live stress free. Life is like a roller coaster, there will always be ups and downs, what we can do is, always try to create happy moments as much as possible, so that when the sad moments come, we may finely go through that phase with the advocacy of happy moments that we created and lived in the past. "Living the venture is as important as reaching the destination"

P. S not a single leech sucked my blood, all thanks to my all white dress up and of course to my mates who helped me getting off the leeches from my shoes and clothes. Will miss all of you and every good moments which we had in this three years of venture. God bless u all.
