Synopsis of the Not Jotted Fresh Past

Image
Now that I think of and checked my journal, it is almost going to be one month since my last journaling. The reason behind; was just lazy and occupied with academic practicals and university programs; I broke my record of staying and working in the department till 4.30am to now 5.30am, not me thinking 10.30pm was late during graduation. Well anyways, my final exams are also near by now, only few days left, but before getting into the last moment preparation of exam, I thought, I should better jot down this one-month synopsis of my life. I completed reading a book called "Atomic Habits" written by James Clear, ow it is a lovely book, I undoubtfully recommend you all, I assure, it will benefit you in many ways.  I have also chosen and referred to this book for one of my Radio Practical, that is, a Radio Talk on the topic “how to develop good habits and break bad habits”.  Radio talk basically is a kind of radio program where a person, gives a talk or speech on a top...

Hallucination in the First Blood Donation?

Image
And I thought; is this how you hallucinate after taking drugs? What is up people, welcome to my another blog, you all are most welcome, and if you have not subscribed yet, then please like and subscribe, also do share to your friends and family, Just Kidding. People, as mentioned in the title, I happen to do blood donation for the first time in my life; yes I am in my early 20s but never donated my blood to anyone till today. Not like I am scared or anything, it is just that, the time never came. But today, I guess, the time finally came and it happened.  So, last night, I received a notification that today, a blood donation drive was going to take place in our university, and after seeing that, I was like, I also want to donate blood. And this morning, I got up, went to class, talked with my few mates about donating blood, and then we went to the blood donation camp; but ultimately, I was the only one who donated blood. Here is the thing, I am kind of a spontaneous person, who agr...

"Nyokum" that ignited a new point of view

Image
My goodness, my legs are shouting for a good rest. A new, fun and learning experience in my life, no it is not simply just about Nyokum or how I danced the whole time with no hesitation, it is about meeting the new persona of mine, and getting to know people from a different point of view and also how to start knowing people regardless of my adapted culture and prejudice. Every people deserve the same treatment beforehand of his/ her future actions.  It is my second semester period of MA degree, and by now, I somehow know my classmates in a better manner. Most of my classmates are Nyishi, and they have a very different culture as compared with my culture and tradition. I cannot precisely assert of how they have been brought up or in which kind of ambiance they have been surrounded since their childhood, because I have never spent a whole day or few couple of days in a Nyishi household, and again, all Nyishi are not the same. But in general, I have experience and felt th...

Epiphany

We human beings, especially teenagers and adults tend to think and believe that_ our body and life is all ours, we have the absolute right to do whatever with it, and live our life as we like. But, how forgetful, stupid, ungrateful, unaware, pity, and hypocrite of us it is, to think this way. Forgetful are us,  Who forgets the fact that we have been taken care of since the moment, our parents realized that they have a life to take care of. Stupid are us,  Who think that they are naturally bound to take care of us, and not because of their cause of love; that they take care of us. Ungrateful are us, Who see, and still never acknowledge their time, energy, and money which they spend on us and for us. Unaware are us,  Who do not realize that our body and life is a part and sacrifice of their life. Pity is us,  Who think that they owe us their everything, and we owe them nothing; thinking that it is them who choose to gave birth and not us who choose to be bo...

2nd Welcome To My Brain

What is the exact definition of fine? Or what do we actually mean, when we say fine or everything is fine?   One of the supercentenarians, Jeanne Calment, the oldest person of verified age in history, who died at age 122 said “I see badly, I hear badly, and I feel bad, but everything is fine”.   I mean, if she could see badly, hear badly, and feel bad, then how everything can be fine or was fine for her? Well I guess everyone has their own definition and concept for the word ‘fine’ since everyone is not the same; different people, different culture, lifestyle, different approaches to react and tackle problems and also different way of seeing life. Sometimes I wonder, do the definition, given in a dictionary for a word could explicitly define the meaning of the word? Now if I ask you, are you fine? You may say, I am fine or no I am not fine. Honestly, all I can assume or take in to your answer is that you may actually be fine; everything is doing okay and working wel...

First Music video "Hensu Aya Mi"

Image
14 January 2023, LOL. It is finally released today but the time you see this blog, it will already be many days went by. Because I'm too shy to share this blog today itself or let's say I'm not that confident enough to share it right now. Yes I have seen the music video by now, and it would be me lying if I say I have watched it only once. After every couple of minutes, I have rewatched it, not because I'm very excited about it or very happy (I'm not sad about it though, let me make that clear). You know it is just that I do not think that I should be there on the screen on a music video (I do not regret it though), I mean I have a tone of insecurities (saying this out in the public domain feels vulnerable LOL, but you know, someone has to say it out so yeah), so seeing yourself on the screen where everyone is going to judge you and your every little details, it is a little hard. Yes I know we gotta accept of who we are, and how we look, but sometimes the insecuriti...

Reminiscing the good old days (fictional story)

Image
Tamer and Marry are two good childhood friends. Marry went to Delhi to pursue her master’s degree while Tamer stayed back in the village to look after his old parents and his younger siblings. In Delhi, Marry enrolls herself in a part time job in a cafe for her pocket money. One regular evening, Marry comes back to her room from the cafe; she lies on the bed, checks her phone and taps on one Facebook notification. She opens the notification, and sees a meme  shared by Tamer with a caption “Do you remember this?” (With a tear holding back emoji), a couple of children could be seen in the meme playing with marbles; all covered in dust, totally focused on one single marble. She smiles and replies texting; of course, I do remember, those days were something else. Both starts to chat. Tamer : I know right, but the sad thing is kids now a days do not play how we used to, they are always occupied with smartphones. They are missing out the real enjoyment and happiness. Mar...
